Our Properties Canopy Ridge Cabins

About Our Property

Our property has more to offer than just beautiful cabins. Take a stroll and explore what nature has to offer in this peaceful and serene setting.

Property Information

Our 60-acre property is secluded and away from the busier areas of Hocking Hills, but still within 10 minutes from the State Park attractions such as Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, Conkles Hollow, Cedar Falls and The Buckeye Trail. We are also within 5 minutes of a little unknown gem…natural water trickling out of the side of a large rock formation; so feel free to stop by and wash your hands or fill up your water bottle in the natural spring water! Our property currently hosts 2 cabins, a TREEHOUSE, a Yurt, a guest services building, woods, wildlife, private hiking trail, gorges, seasonal waterfalls, creeks and privacy. You can see the stars and hear the animals without the noise of cars as the main driveway and cabins are up 1,000ft in elevation.

Private Hiking Trail

Our hiking trail is of moderate difficulty, marked with wooden arrows and is a one-way trail…meaning you have to come up the way you went down. You will travel down 200ft and about 0.4 miles through woods, dipping into a small gorge to cross and walk next to a small seasonal creek. At a moderate pace…it takes about 15 minutes. At the bottom of the trail are a few gorges, beautiful rock formations and overhangs along with 3 seasonal waterfalls and creeks. After taking in the sights and sounds it’s time for the hard part…going back the way you came which is considerably harder!

My family recently stayed at the yurt owned by Canopy Ridge Cabins. The owners have perfected every aspect of this yurt. It was absolutely IMMACULATE. The location was central to area activities yet extremely private. There is a beautiful trail right on the property. We have some great pics of deer right outside the yurt as well as on the private trail. Normally, I do not like vacations because I am a germaphobe when it comes to hotels. I felt so comfortable in the yurt. It felt like home. The air conditioning was amazing on the 90 degree days, especially after hiking the Hocking Hills trails. I am hesitant to leave this review because I want this place to be my little secret but I have to give credit where credit it due. I HIGHLY recommend staying with Canopy Ridge Cabins. I hope that we are able to stay here again! THANK YOU! 😁

Beautiful, comfortable cabin with a wrap around deck overlooking the woods. Owners very pleasant and helpful including mailing something left in the cabin.

Very nice. Cabin is well kept and very clean. The hot tub and outdoor shower are amazing and private. Great place to sit on the deck and enjoy nature. Nice fire pit. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. It is worth checking it out. Management seems really nice and was very responsive viaemail.
