About Canopy Ridge Cabins

About Canopy Ridge Cabins

Canopy Ridge Cabins was started in 2015 by Kevin and Jennifer Martinez. We love the Hocking Hills and want to share the beauty of our 60 acre property with others. We currently offer two luxurious log cabins, a tree house and yurt, all which offer the finest amenities.

This is your vacation home

There are two primary factors to having a great stay and great time in hocking hills. We believe these are the very same reasons you should choose canopy ridge cabins. We want you comfortable, your return business and maybe even a referral or two!

Lodging

You get the look and feel of the real thing because it is! Our FUNK House and NEST House cabins were built in 2015 with 8 inch round Northern White Cedar logs.

Our Tree house was built in 2017 with 6 inch round Northern White Cedar logs. It is an all-season log cabin nestled up in the trees 20 ft off the ground and our second story deck is even higher at 23 ft off the ground!

Our yurt was built in 2021 and is 30' which is the largest size the manufacturer makes. The GLAMP house features an open concept living space with a dome skylight in the ceiling to let in lots of natural light. Glamping at its finest!

The large outdoor back decks are elevated for a great view of the ridge and the height is conducive to less bugs at night being higher off the ground.

Of course there is an outdoor fire pit with seating, 4 person hot tub (2 person hot tub for the tree house) and gas grill at each cabin.

Accommodations

We typically do not have anyone on site because you will have nearly everything you need - including privacy.

Fully furnished cabins and a clean maintained residence. Our cabins have all of the major appliances, kitchenware, linens, towels, pillows, and blankets, large flat screen TVs, Telephone, WiFi/internet, indoor gas fireplaces, central air conditioning and heat & hot tubs.

We clean the cabins thoroughly after each stay, and properly maintain the hot tub chemical balances. We offer all of your finest home amenities in a peaceful setting in the woods!

We also offer a Guest Services building for our guests to use. Inside you will find a washer and dryer with detergent and fabric softener for you to use. There are also extra towels, blankets, toilet paper, paper towels, books, games and magazines. There is an additional telephone located on the outside of guest services.

It's all about the property and location over here in the Hocking Hills.

Property

Privately owned 60 acres of woods, wildlife, gorges, seasonal creeks and waterfalls.

You can see the stars and hear the animals without the noise of cars because the property is up 1,000 ft in elevation.

A hiking trail descending 200 feet and covering about 1/2 mile leads you to a gorge area where seasonal creeks and small waterfalls are present.

Location

Our property is secluded; a little off the beaten path, away from the busier areas of Hocking Hills and on one of the higher elevations in Hocking Hills.

Nevertheless, we are within 15 minutes from the State Park attractions such as Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, Conkles Hollow, Cedar Falls and The Buckeye Trail.

We are also within 5 minutes of a little unknown gem - natural water trickling out of the side of a large rock formation; so feel free to stop by and wash your hands in the natural spring water!

We provide you maps to all of these attractions. And lastly, we are 5 minutes from the only gas station in Hocking Hills, the Harper's Gas and More, which also serves as a small convenient store.
